WoW vs. Ryzom

I have not played Ryzom yet ( Downloading client now) , but I have played WoW and this is what I can say , WoW is a game that can be alot of fun but the crafting system isnt very complex and the games main focus is combat , I personally cannot play it for long periods as of yet. You may just want to continue with Ryzom and if you ever do get bored just re-subscribe to WoW.


(I will also add that this is a Ryzom forum so most of your replys will be in favor of Ryzom most likely... hehe )

I have to agree from the post I saw previously, I am downloading the client as we speak. The WoW, because of its marketing, is proving to be bringing in kids from age 9 to 16. I see in Ryzom that the group is much more community oriented rather than the kids doing the "Heal Plz" all over the place.

I look forward to evaluating the game. If it proves to be this emersive, believe me I will fork over my credit card and start going full time.
One then I wanted to add as well as (its actually 2 things I want to say) is I like the trial system and how it caps out. It allows you to have fun with the game and see what its all about. I also want to say the types of things you can do seem limitless. However, I want to see what the road shows.
