Just wanted to point out though, that these are public forums and if a person has an opinion about a guild or member in that guild as long as it doesn't go against the CoC or EULA than he/she has a right to post it.

a word was said in a way to imply aggressiveness or degoratory, the word was wamp. although not a bad word for most of us, and personally not knowing what the hell the word is, i`m sure he wasnt implying the CSRs were native indians or Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP, but had his own meaning, obviously a private joke with redslayer. anyway the tone in whch he said it was edited i think, rather than the word.

eg. Keiko you are a right toblerone means nothing, but you could find it offensive in that context. You're not btw

I`l delete this post tommorow cause have nothing against sunce or EFD, just explaining whats going on to keiko. I dont think this thread needs to be contaminated with personnal opinions

Just because you don't know what it means doesn't mean its bad, but I think its fairly safe to say that Sunce wasn't posting it to mean what he linked.

one thing that gets me is that most words when translated into some 'other' language can have negative meanings. So really basing anything on w-o-r-d-s is rather juvenile and naive. On the other hand calling someone a "grumptious twittering bladderwrack" when in flame-mode is just that imo, a flame, although a rather silly one ;P

this brings up the somewhat silly naming rules that sometimes get enforced in Ryzom..

Out of all the things Sunce has said on the forums to get banned for that is funny, dont have a clue what he was talking about but if he wanted to annoy/offend the CSR do you really think thats all he would do?
Get a grip people, lets go through some old threads and ban half the server for saying something which could be considered offensive, oh wait thats not their style, just ban people who they dont like or disagree with ingame.

From one of the posts Marjo/Tydamus made (I forget who it was), it was before he started using that word that he got banned - he got banned for basically constant flaming in like 3 threads or something like that. If I could be bothered, I would try and find their post, but the thread its in probably got deleted.

Besides, a bad word is a bad word, and if someone uses it in every post he makes, and has it in his signature (looks like it got removed now though) then I think its fair to say they're going to put more effort into editing his posts than usual

He's always been an ass on the forums (uh oh bad word, gunna ban me? lol) i dont see why all of a sudden its not allowed, the forums the last few months have been nothing but flames, long over due sorting it out, but i hardly think sunce is the route of the problems, a permanent forum ban seems harsh.

In all honestly since jolt was removed CSRing standards have slipped (no surprise considering jolt did a first rate job) either everyone who flames and trolls gets banned or some action taken against them to try and restore some order, or just leave the chaos, rules need to be the same for everyone even if the CSR have a personal view about a person from gaming with then.
