I don't get a login screen

Hi, I've downloaded the game, the full installation, it's installed, and when I click 'finish', I can't get a login screen



Installation went fine, but when I click on the link in my start menu, I get a window 'Ryzom Repaire and Install ', so I tried both, install, and repair, and then I get 'installation successfull', and there is this checkbox : 'start Ryzomg now', but when I click finish then, that's it, the window closes, no messages, no new screen, nothing ...

Any idea what could be wrong ?

go to c:\program files\ryzom\ directory and see if client_ryzom_rd.exe is there.
if yes, click it. if not, check under unpack directory. if it's there, then move that and other .exe/.dll files to ryzom directory and try to run it.

if you running vista, then it might be useful to try to copy ryzom under Documents (well, i put my ryzom there) and then modify/make new shortcut to desktop. ("program files" folder usually needs admin rights for writing, but Documents is "running" under user rights).
