Problem with May 3rd patch(resolved)

Surely I cannot be the only one who can no longer even open Ryzom after this latest patch.

It went something like this:

-Come home from work.
-Open Ryzom.
-Patch automatically downloads and installs.
-Ryzom tells me I need to restart Ryzom for the patch to take effect.
-Tell Ryzom, "Okay!"
-Ryzom tries to re-open, gives me an error message. "Debug, ignore, exit."
-Try all three options. Program crashes after every try.

Anybody have a fix for this? I've hunted the forums for hours trying to find a similar problem with a solution attached, but to no avail. Also, before anyone asks, I did reboot my computer to see if that would fix it. The result was a resounding no change.

Orb, have you checked that the process client_ryzom_rd.exe is already running when you execute the ryzom client?I think it's a bug that runs 2 instances of that process, and then, fails. If you didn't checked the process or don't know how to check it, press Ctrl+Alt+Sup and then go to the Task Manager, section "Processes"

No Ryzom client in my processes list. I've cit200.exe and csrss.exe, but client_ryzom_rd.exe does not appear.

My error message is as follows:

Access Violation exception generated at 0x9584AD, thread attempts to read at <NULL>.
The thread attempted to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.

Look in the begineers forum, i have the same problem, and it was preannounced as it was happened to me also while trying to use ATS.

PS: Strange i was not able to post here, but seems i can reply.

Edit: you can notice (looking at my post) that the log it's the same, and the memory address shown is the same.

well i've had the same problem, so i was running "ryzom_recover.exe" and now i can load ryzom client but im not able to connect to server. Everytime im trying its just report me (error 1).

The account is ok, cause my friend tried it for me at his computer and was succesfully load into game.

Please can anyone help ?

I've tried completely reinstal whole game but it doesnt help also.
