Meaning of word: RYZOM

Guys do you know what the word means?
I have recently found out (by purest chance)

It means the primary stem of crawling moss (thу sort of stem that does not have leaves on it) in Latin.

Just wanted to share it with you

i first ran into the word a few years ago in AP Biology - senior year of high school. Rhizome :: (dictionary.com...) a rootlike subterranean stem, commonly horizontal in position, that usually produces roots below and sends up shoots progressively from the upper surface.

In french, a "rhizome" is the underground stem of a plant

rhizome and ryzom are phonetically the same, but "saga of ryzom" looks far more cool than "saga of rhizome"

its greek ρυζομα = root , since greek is older then french and latin.
