User Interface issues

Hello there, wonder if anyone can lend a hand in helping me understand the GUI, have just started gaming Ryzom on trial but cant find anyway of seeing levels and XP-bars ... is this not possible? How does one know what level one has? And how much XP is reuired to level?

Check under the action button. Find the tree you are interested in leveling e.g. Magic Open up the tree. There will be a bar. The closer the bar is to the end, the closer you are to the next ding (level).

Somewhere on the Net, there is a list someone once did of an approximate Amount of XP needed per level. But in all fairness and sesibility, it´s unecessary.
Because with each level you will need more XP, just like in other games, and sooner or later you´re not going to care anymore, because on the lower ranks levels rush by and in the higher reaches they slow down to a hard crawl, even with the famed XP-Catalysers *shudder*.
That isn´t to say it gets boring, no way. Leveling is as much fun as you make of it and if you don´t like to grind, then don´t grind.
Just play the game and enjoy each "Ding" when it happens
