Help picking a race...

Hey everybody, I'm just trying out Ryzom. Still not sure which race I like best. I like the Zorai's focus on spirituality and wisdom but I don't know if I relate to their look. The Matis seem a bit stuck up and the Fyros a bit empty-headed, but otherwise I find them interesting. I guess I could pick whichever looks the best (probably Matis) and then play the character as I like to, right?

Thats the best way to do it imo

You're not constrained to follow any path; the game doesn't force you to pick any specific race/faction
