Check for hidden files as well, the new installer seems to hide some of the .exes

I there any other place besides the Official website that I could try downloading this? Or anyone else have any ideas?

There should be an old version on Fileplanet which has the full client, but it attempts to connect to the old server locations, which will result in an Error Code 1 when attempting to log into the game. This can be easily fixed by editing your client.cfg file as stated here: http://forums.ryzom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28706
