The outcome cannot be confirmed, however only one thing is certain: a great battle will be fought... across two fields. Yes, yes, one in the darkness and one in the light. What is more, I sense that someone of great influence will fall before the end...

Homins you have been called to assist the Matisians at their Palace at 8pm GMT / 9pm BST on Saturday. The wind does not tell me how your choices will affect the world, but be assured that we approach the eye of the storm, and Atys rests in the balance!

Except when they attack first, which would then obviously mean that they're in breach of the treaty in case they'd ask for help from the other nations.

Ah, hello there. Things aren't really progressing in a manner which I expected. A shame there is such a thing as free will.

The Matis have called for aid in their attack (nope, not counter-attack) on the strangers, and so you can do whatever you want again. I don't know how it's going to end, but I know that a great war will happen, which will take place in two locations. One obviously in the Prime Roots and one above ground (guess where). Also, I think that some leader (guess who) is going to be killed.

The Matisians want you to team up at their Palace at 8pm GMT / 9pm BST on Saturday. I'm not allowed to tell you by the event team how your choices will influence Atys, but you can be sure that there will be a lot of chaos and killing and stuff anyway.

I'm going to take a vacation now, and tell you some more stuff when it's over.

Could someone enlighten me?

I have read our history cubes... what little we have managed to find or hold, and do not see at any time any single attempt at negociation with the marauders. Seems to me both sides agree the other has no right to the lands and they do. Whoever strikes first with the greatest power available wins.

Now we are talking of attacking before they do.

I know they have sent spies and also have attacked the scientists, but weren't we "playing" with what seems to be their technological advantage and thus weakening their possible survival attempts?

If only a few representatives could muster enough compassion for homins to avoid another bloodshed (for which the outcome is less than secure at this point it seems), maybe they could be sent to the marauders to negociate a peace treaty. Just think of all the advantage both could gain. We have shown our strength in numbers before and they have technological advantages. Seems to me we would both benefit a lot more from mutual understanding and cooperation than destruction.

I understand homins feel this is quite a great opportunity to test their new equipement and personally, I don't comdemn such, but it shouldn't be at the cost of such homin blood. Could we not rise together, along side of the marauders using our might in numbers and their technology using goo to combat our greater ennemies: the kamis and the karavans who pit us against each other?

Marauders have no worries about the kamis and karavan and seems above them all by their technology. I can also predict that the kamis and karavan will once again let us fight our own battles and passively watch the outcome.
