Right now I took a stroll through my homeland (Witherings) on my mount. Well now I know you're saying that's borning or something and that it's easy, but what I did differently was just have the Mektoub walk. No running, just walking, avoiding aggro, and everything else. Then I came up with an idea: What if I could get sponsorships from guilds to walk ALL of Atys? Walk through everything except when running is needed (like in PR... Damn those Kinchers). Just venture everywhere, go to each Capitol City and make my point known that playing Ryzom is not all about grinding and beating the stick, it also consists of wonderful environments and beautiful nature that we should take some time to look and enjoy the wonderful planet we call Atys. Going through and walking, you notice a lot more than if you're running. You just see a part of the area, and then you forget about it because you are running and concentrating to get from point A to point B. Walking, we see the plants, see all of nature, and see what the Life-Giver Ma-Duk and the Goddess Jena has made Atys to be. Now I know you all know (or hopefully, or I'm not doing a good job of it) that I am Kami, and I disregard Jena as a Goddess, but what I am doing is not for the Kami nor for the Disciples of Jena. It is to prove to Homins that life on Ryzom is more than just grinding
(( OOC: I thought of this idea because well, I don't know really. But I do think too many people (or new players) concentrate more on grinding and beating something with a long stick more than just enjoying the world and imagining life through their Homin's eyes. This trek is also a way for me to find out what I've been missing out on as well.
