Icon Worshippers Questions and is this a faction bug?

If Cerest can get an official answer I would be very happy.

1) Are the Icon Worshippers a Zorai only group?

2) When you do some Icon Worshippers missions you get awarded Kami faction, Matis faction, and Icon Worshippers faction. You also get Karavan faction taken away. As the Matis and the Kami don't like each other, and it appears that the Icon Worshippers are a Zorai only group, is it a bug to get Matis fame? Should the fame be going to Zorai instead?

I'm pretty sure this is a bug - icon worshippers used to give out zorai faction. There is at least one group around which gives out both matis and kami fame - the dead seeds in maiden's grove (and this a tribe made up of matis). Based on the interview published with the developer, it's pretty clear that the kami/karavan faction split is the big choice in the world, and the races aren't so clear cut divided. While the majority of matis might follow karavan, does it really shock your world view that there are some small groups of matis who have decided to side with the kami and moved to zorai lands?

Based on the kami in the dead seed camp, I would say they already did.

No I do beleive there are some small groups that might follow something other than what their race approves of. But the thing that bothers me with the Icon Worshippers is that the group is entierly made up of Zorai. So why would Matis fame be given and Zorai fame not. This is why I think it's a bug. I was hoping Cerest would verify that info for us.

I think you are right that it is a bug ..

I do not remeber ever getting matis fame for Icon missions and only noticed it the other day. But I welcome this bug .. It helps offset the negative matis fame I have been getting from the shadow runner missions.

Why did they then?

No idea. You must admit the Kami can be a bit hard to understand at times - other than wanting to spread "Kami love" I've never seen them give any reason for their actions.

The problem for me is that because of this bug at one point I had a better Matis faction than Zorai. Right now they are about even because I have been doing more Zorai missions.
