This was indeed a fun event. Thanks to Final for setting it up! Thanks to Sanrye, Razorsedge and other VVV for refereeing. Thanks all who showed up.

Also thanks to Yaffle for shooting that ammo! We definately did better while the ammo lasted.

Things probably look different when you're on the side with nothing to lose. This event has the potential to be fun, yes, but when suggested and carried out in the midst of forum arguments about in-game PvP, the results I would expect to see used solely as a propaganda tool:

-If the Kami win, the Karavan are terrible PvPers and don't deserve outposts.
-If the Karavan win, they're still the same evil oppressors that need to be defeated.

So why would the Karavan unanimously embrace this event with enthusiasm?

ah you may have missed something there,

alot of us have missed this event for reasons other than they thought it was a bad idea etc, I came and watched for a bit but it wasnt really my cup of tea tbh, so I went back to finishing what was important to me, I know several karavan PvP'rs were not able to make it. I wouldnt tar everyone on the kara side with the same brush.
I see alot of people had a good time regardless and really wouldnt want to mar a good event with backbiting here now.

I didn't have any forest TPs.

I, for one, was not even in-game (being Saint Patty's weekend and all ), and many others were either unable to be there or weren't too interested. Carefully regulated arena-based combat isn't the only type of PvP, mind you; perhaps some folks prefer the spontineity of OP battles or capital skirmishes. Remember, also, that this is not the first PvP-related event in which the Karavan had a poor showing... if you want to try something else, I wouldn't mind seeing the message "tagged Kami in Yrk" show up in Kara-chat now and then.

I normally sit at the stables, chat with tagged karavan then leave cos no one even bothers pretending the Yrk sheild act (i think thats what DT named it) exists.
