If they are around for the OP battles, the the fights are what keeps 'em comming back, right?jared96 wrote:When all ya regular dig buddies (both kara and kami) haven't been on for weeks, except for OP battles) something is happening.
Players get bored, they move on...unless you had a game constatly adding PvE content; ain't nothing gunna change that. Since adding PvE content is hard, and take money and thought, we probably won't be seeing much of it.
I didn't use the NBA analogy, you did. I said if I were playing against a pro player, I would stand no chance...and it wasn't supposed to be an anology for OPs...it was ment to show that, at a very basic level, life is unfair.jared96 wrote: If you want to argue a PoV and use analogies like the NBA, you just can't dismiss them after they don't work for you anymore.

No...not anything. Some of the ideas suggested would make the outcome less predictable, but would be bad for the game. Anything that significantly limits player choice would be bad for the game.jared96 wrote: ... and anything that makes it less so is good for the game.
I am not saying there isn't a problem. I am saying some of the proposed solutions make it worse.
(It doesn't matter anyway, since nothing will be done to change it. It is just a fun argument to have)
