I still have not gone either way, althought my guild is mostly Karavan. They have been great in not pressuring me to join either side.
Read the forum posts, get to know the players, read up on the lore for sure. That's what I like about it, you're not quite sure what to think...there's a little mystery there on both sides.

Make friends with people in game. Grab at opinions from Kami, Karavan, and neutral players. Go where you find the friendliest atmosphere.
Re: I just joined as a subscriber
Well I have done a lot of reading, I am more inclinded to Join Karavan and being Matis that fits well, however the Kami being outnumbered is not good. I intend to PvP as soon as I can make a difference and I like even fights.
Jena is so hawt too, hard to resit her
Does either side have cokies?

If you don't prefer either you have the option to stay neutral.......portios wrote: Now shold I go Karavan or Kami
I suggest you just stay around people you like.

Join the faction which calls to you the most. You'll just end up unhappy somewhere you dont agree with the lore. The Kami are outnumbered on most days, evenly matched at certain times of the day. But don't let that sway you. We manage (us Kami). You'll make a difference whichever way you go, I'm sure.portios wrote:Well I have done a lot of reading, I am more inclinded to Join Karavan and being Matis that fits well, however the Kami being outnumbered is not good.

But, the Kami has better cookies. And our Waylanda just backed his first cake in like 5 years.
Re: I just joined as a subscriber
Hmmm kamis are out numbered in OP battles but they out number Karavaners in PvP... so go where you would like and tell people to stfu when the feed propaganda to you for either side

perhaps join a neutral guild to start of with, always a good base if u ever decide to pick a kara or kami pvp side.

Depends on time of day and locations of Op battles for numbers, sometimes kami have more then karavan, I've seen it several times . Especially on fridays at around 9am central time .
The only real thing that factioning does for you is provide you with faction only teleports to primeroots territory, 250 zones, and certain towns. All non prime roots and non 250 zones have a neutral teleport, kami or karavan one of the two (at least sometimes both). Such things can be helpful but really not needed to survive in the game. Declareing a faction also gives a faction pvp tag (optional, turn it on to have random combat with strangers ). If you don't care about getting teleports that are faction only or not a huge pvp'er, no real reason to join one side .
As for choseing a side pick it based on people you enjoy partying with and talking to. In the grand scheme of the game, you'll have more fun being with people you like then chooseing based on some written information or history. In my oppinion lore can't hold a candle to some really fun people . Unless you are a really hardcore Roleplayer and love one storyline more then the other .

Of course nothing says you can't have fun partying with members of the other factionnazak07 wrote: As for choseing a side pick it based on people you enjoy partying with and talking to.
