Hi
I recently started playing the wonderful game . At the moment im still on Silan but im considering leaving for ML real soon.
Im Zorai by race and at the present, i have the following levels:
Fighting lvl 46 melee
Magic lvl 21 in Defensive and 22 in Offensive
Crafting lvl 14
Harvest lvl 17
Crafting and harvesting is not my favorite thing to do, but i'll chip in if needed. Im looking for a Kami guild, since thats what intriques me the most. Im based in Europe and usually available doing evenings.
Pls drop me a mail ingame to 'Arlyehin' if you find this interesting, and if possible - then feel free to descripe you guild in here

Re: New player looking for guild
Hi Arlyehin
My advice would be that you spend some time with members of different guilds and make up your mind afterwards. Most are willing to help you and there's no need to join a guild the first day you hit mainland.
You should be able to get an idea about the differences between the guilds. But more important is, what kind of guild are you looking for?
Is Kami allegiance all that matters to you? Does the guild's size matter? Does it citizenship matter? Does it's friends matter to you? Do you wish just to play and have fun, or do you wish to develop your char along roleplaying as well?
Atys and it's nations are a place where you will make a difference, so having an idea about who you wish to be is always good It is true some become more fameous than others, depending on what they do.
Take missions for instance, some say those are of no real value. Some think they are cool and try to work for their fame and to become more knowledgable (rite missions).
* edit * if you wish to join a guild as soon as you hit mailand, I am sure some will be happy to invite you without further ado

Re: New player looking for guild
Some very good questions there. I'll try and answer them
With regards to 'shop around' for a guild, it can be very difficult. The fiction behind the game shows nothing of this, so figuring out the politics of Atys is...hard . Could be interesting if some of the player politics/standings etc was incorporated into the official fiction.
Kami allegiance matter to some extent. I've read the fiction behind the game and it seems (at least to me) that Kami is the way to go . Guild size; Thats a tough one. Guild size isnt really that important. Whats more important is the teamwork/teamplay within the guild. However, if i was to lay down a number, i would say less than 100 players. Fun is naturally a factor. If it wasnt fun i wouldnt be playing it , but other than that - i like to develop my char through RP.karmelit wrote: Is Kami allegiance all that matters to you? Re: New player looking for guild
I don't think there is any guild on Atys with 100+ members if you count only active members.
As for my "questions", they were only suggestions as to what you might consider important. The answers you gave might help interested guilds to know what you are looking for
If you like a deeper explanation from a Zoraï point of view, feel free to contact me ingame. I am always willing to discuss our history and politics.
Of course I am also interested in recruiting new members to MoV (Merchants of Void), but that's not my main reason for helping young homins.
