Yes, I did a stupid thing. I accidentally threw away some goo I needed to complete a mission (#2 goo in Silan). Now the counter thinks the mission is done, but I couldn't give the full amount to the Kara mission giver so the mission isn't finished.

Just go get some more goo, you say. Well, when the counter thinks you have enough you can't get anymore no matter how many goo contaminated critters you kill.

Start the mission over, you say. Fine, but there isn't a way to cancel a mission that I can find.

Now there are no GMs. I already miss Sengoasha and I only talked to her twice. CSRs don't answer tells or look at support requests it seems. We're now in the third age - when players run the game. That being the case, can anyone tell me how to breakout of this catch22 w/o starting a new character?

You should be able to cancel the mission. Go to the mission window. You may need to expand view (there is a button) to find the Abandon Mission button.

Missons cannot be cancelled while on Silan....


My best suggestion would be do something else for now, and try to catch a CSR when one is around. There are already a couple available, just not 24 hours.

Well I managed to do exactly same mistake as you back in my days on Silan. Threw away some of mission mats while counter was already filled so it didnt allow me to get any more mats from killing goo animals. But you still can complete the mission by finding and _digging_ the right type of "goo residue" somewhere around Blight Zone. It may be quite hard to find it, I spent a lot of time looking for it myself, but its doable

Aye, CSRs are on line when I am - they just don't answer tells or support requests.

csrs have to work through the tickets first and i'd guess they do them strictly in the order they receive them in and based on how critical they are. tells would be answered once the tickets are done. do the math.

Sorry that I can't help but to say "screw it! It doesn't matter." Carry on and come to the mainland! We still can't get rid of the goo here but we need people to try and find the way.

Quite right you cannot cancel missions whilst on Silan, not sure if it a bug or not. Same happened to me.

It doesn't matter though, you won't loose much as this is not really a mission based game. It is not like other games you probably have played previously.

Carry on until you get decent skills or get bored, whichever come first, then come over to the Mainland. You can skill up even from low lvls and you will probably get invited to a nice friendly guild as I did. You will get lots of help from them.

The friendly community is what, amongst other things really makes this game.

I'm glad to report that I've now been contacted by CSRs several times on this issue. They were very nice in explaining that they couldn't fix it over the weekend b/c it takes dev intervention to cancel a mission. That's fine b/c I won't be ready for ML till this weekend anyway.

Also, several players have contacted me in game, mostly to explain to me, as several did in this thread, that the KK missions aren't that important on Silan. This is really a great community.
