OK, thanks. I get most of that, there's just two points I'm confused on.The CSRs are the Customer Service Representatives. The people who are there to help with possible bugs, move you when you are stuck in the scenary and generally help out. Most of them are volunteers, and all were employed by Jolt to run the support side of the game. As of 11pm last night, they were no longer allowed to serve Ryzom in that capacity and so we currently have no live support in game (or in Klients).
1.) "Volunteers " and " Employeed by Jolt..." sound like opposite things to me. Which leads to 2
2.) People are acting like we're never going to see these folks again, and they seem to be saying goodbye as though we aren't, either. If we love them and they love us and we both love Ryzom, why aren't they still playing? If they were employed by Jolt, and still are, and therefore have to spend those hours a week doing something other than Ryzom, I kinda sorta get that (though we should still see them, the rest of us have jobs too). But if they're just volunteers, why aren't they still volunteering, even unofficially?
riven: Is the NDA? Like, if they rolled new characters, would they be forbidden to admit that they were actually so-and-so-the-former-CSR? And without a contract between GF and Jolt, who would be doing the forbidding?
