Patcher crashes on particular file.

Hi,

I've just downloaded the trial client and every time I try to get it run it crashes while patching. Each time it crashes 0 terre_ig_00607.Patch. There's no specific point when it happens (anywhere from 48kb to 102kb).

I've tried it on two separate machines with different systems, antiviruses and firewalls. Also disabling the firewall didn't do much good. There's still slim chance that this is related to my ISP, thou I doubt it.

Try deleting the UNPACK folder and try launching again. It may just be a corrupt index file. Also make sure that you have lots of free space on the drive that contains your temporary folder.

Well, I was thinking of that and some other possible reasons. That's why I installed it on another machine - not much success, as I wrote. I've also tried reinstalling the client and running that 'recover' thing. I'm just wondering whether you got similar reports from other users, which could indicate possible server issue. If not - I'll just try redownloading the client and trying it in some other places.

GameForge moved the servers to Germany today.
Things may be a bit unsettled netwise I suppose.

You could try running a pingplot to the various sites like http://www.ryzom.com and chat.ryzom.com to see if anything stands out like packet loss or the like.
