strange shout heard today

while i was harmlessly digging today, i heard a shout from apparently nobody that sounded like "the continents are under attack"... anyone else heard that?

...wonder what that was supposed to mean? the gate in Almati still doesnt work, and i saw no other unusual things happening...

well i was at Silan at that time, and it was a /shout in my chatwindow, but didnt show *who* shouted... (just a blank); strange thing is, a guildie on ML heard it too so must have been a guild mass hallucination

Back to reality, I have had a bug like this once, it was a shout command but no one was around...Then again it was when the chat channels were bugged and you would get messages from different regions. Maybe that was it?

I don't know but it might be a tiny glitch.

Hah, I found out the mysterious person, thanks to a friend who discovered it first and showed it to me. There is an NPC on Silan, called Special Envoy, behind the watch tower and close to the R2 Terminal. If you click on him, he goes on about a massive invasion on the mainland, and how all homins are needed to help defend. Every so often, he'll shout and wave his arms about, but with no name, so its just " shouts: bla bla". He also has a mount

That explains the Silan problem. But unless there are more on the mainland, you guys are huffing too much excellent hash.

Edit: Forgot to say that I submitted a ticket about it. Turenkarn(CSR) responded, and according to him, told me that he had checked with an Event Manager about it. She clarified that it was a remainder of the October event, and that it was soon to be removed.
