My 5 Ryzom Chars -- All to Level 50 or Bust!

I have 5 Ryzom chars - Amphiaraus and Amalia (Matis), Otho (Zorai), Altaira (Tryker), and Morbius (Fyros). All are based in the starting mainland cities of their respective races.

My main char is Amphiaraus, melee 93, offensive magic 37, defensive magic 33, armor crafting 63, harvest 28.

It is my goal to level up all 5 of these characters so that each one has at least one level 50 skill. I am hoping to get my main Ryzom char's melee level to 100, with other level 100's in future for my main's and maybe some of the others as well.

I enjoy the variety of being able to log into any of the 4 Homin homelands, of being able to help ingame friends, and help my fellow SWG refugees who are joining Ryzom. I can be in 5 places at once!

I dislike soloing and by switching from char to char I can normally find a group to level with.

Perhaps I will have each of my chars specialize in some aspect of crafting and/or combat.

Many Ryzom fans seem to want to create one uber char and avoid having multiple accounts, but to me multiple Ryzom accounts make the game more enjoyable.

I'm one of those people that goes with the one character for everthing but if your finding it fun to have the five character go for it

I make one char in Aris, only one, for lack of time. And I've other in Silan on Cho, advancing only when Aris is down and Cho up xD. But this advances 5 levels per month, or so xD.

About the avaiable teams, you don't really need a char in each land to make it. Pick your main character and that some people help to trek it. When you have all the four teleport tickets from all 4 capitals cities, you'll can move to any of them searching people to team.

To afford this (Every teleportation cost 12K) you'll need to harvest, but... after all, you'll need to harvest anyway, and is a good activity when you don't find group.

I think most of people have only one char because part of the fun of the game is only archieved at high levels, and level one char here is a pain, and much more two xD.

BTW: Feel free to contact ingame with me for teaming in matis lands, my main char has the melee at the same level as yours (A bit highter, but OK anyway).

I have 3 avatars that have skills above 20. Two are on Aris, one on Cho. My two main avatars have super high level skills (above 200). One is Cho, one is Aris. The other avatar, I made when I got upset with things going on in Aris, before there was another English server.
I dont create other characters for more grinding, goddess no. I create new characters to level on when I get tired of politics and what.

Every time I think of a name that might be interesting for a character, I want to make a new one for it. Or, if I'm tired of looking at my main's backside while grinding harvest, I'll take a break and make a pretty matis lady toon, or....well heck, I just really like making alts.

It's a disease. I have it bad. It's called YAAS (Yet Another Alt Syndrom). If we had access to hundreds of servers with 10 char slots per server, I'd probably have an alt on every slot and be wishing for more.

hm I have a char on cho Drenton his name and two chars on Leanon
Tolar and Cryton. during my Inventory bug I mainly went on with Cryton, but realised quite soon how tiering it is to start a char from anew.
As there are no character classes, I find it actually less atractive to create a nother char and I was realy happy when I got my mainchar back.
But heck , if you enjoy having more chars than why not, enjoy the game and have fun, good luck to you hope you don´t get bored
oh and btw, to get them all up to 250 I think it will take you years

I have several (4+) characters, for roleplaying purposes. In a way they've helped keep the game feeling fresh for me, but in another way I've ended up biting off more than I could chew.
