Cerest Appreciation Post!!!

The role of GM for any online game is a very difficult one. Our GM's take ALL of the heat for what people dislike about the game, the company, billing, bugs, personal problems, computer problems, internet problems, etc. and they're expected to do so basically 24x7 and always have the perfect sense of etiquette and offend no one at anytime. That's a rough job.

So this post is my effort to show appreciation to not just Cerest but to all of the GM's in this game and give others to opportunity to show their appreciation as well. Despite whatever problems we may have the GM's are truly doing their best to keep the peace, keep a strong community, and give the players what they want. We don't always see that or want to believe it because of repeated "offenses" and because we're angry, but I'm pretty sure we all know it's true. Why else would they be doing this? I don't think this is the kinda job you do just for the paycheck.

Either way, let's keep this positive guys/gals and just genuinely thank these guys for the work and effort they put into our gaming experience. Thanks Cerest et all! We appreciate you!

The entire group of GM's and G's are doing a great job. They respond as quickly as possible to all tickets, which is really nice when your stuck in a portal somewhere

The original poster had the right idea. They put up with a lot from us and I'm sure they get dumped on by Neverax. So they are stuck in the middle trying to keep their head up and doing a wonderful job.

You couldn't pay me six figures a year to do that job and be exposed to that kind of stress and abuse. If you doubt they suffer at our hands just read some of the posts in forums. I've seen dogs treated better at the pound.

I was a guide for the EQ volunteer gm program. I would not wish that job on ANYONE. And our forum rep is TIP top.

Add my voice to the KUDOS. You work your fanny off dear...and it shows. You have MUCH to be proud of.

I remember the one or two thank yous I got while a guide. We kept logs, and I would cut and paste those out and PRINT them out to keep my morale up for those on a TIRADE.

Funny how the word THANK YOU has such a deep meaning, even if you don't realize it when you say it.
