game doesn't start

i just installed the game..
but when i start it.. nothing happens..
there's a process running.. "ryzom_client.exe" or something.. but the game doesn't start..
what cause this n what can i do to fix this?
i have an ATI RADEON 9250 n i'm running it in a 1280x1024pix resolution with 32bit color..

"client_ryzom_rd.exe"? You should also have a window titled "The Saga of Ryzom", which may be minimized in which case bring it to the front, where you can enter your login and password for connection, amongst other things.

How much RAM do you have and how much free disk space? Do you have any other applications or non-standard background processes running?

If the client is 'invisible' it is usually due to the fact that some firewall is blocking things. Make sure that the Ryzom client has full access and you may have to manually enable the outgoing ports as listed in your 'welcome to Ryzom' email and the Networking FAQ sticky
