lol. I think it's at least 20x as big as noobland, myself.
As far as the rest of your post, and the gist of the responses in general: sure, it's nice that we're able to redo characters with the hindsight and experience we have now. Some people are especially happy b/c they have access to skills, like racial crafting, that they didn't have access to at the beginning, and will be able to channel more sp into that. And that's all well and good, I suppose, although it seems a bit strange and exploitative to me. But, people seem to be in agreement that it is okay, so I don't mind.
I jokingly posted earlier in this thread that I'm scared
. And I am, because I like my character just as she is. I don't mind reallocating sp as such, but I'm a bit concerned that I'm going to overlook something that I picked the first time around. I can work around that by taking copious notes on the skills I have now, I suppose. This is just a concern of mine.
I'm also hoping that the sp refund rolls out smoothly. I'd hate to hear of people missing xx number of sp after the respec; although I am confident that, if that happens, the GMs will handle it with their usually competency and promptness, and my bringing it up here is simply speculation. Most likely and hopefully it will not be a problem.
I'm posting this b/c I'm a bit skeptical, and everyone else seems to have a rosy outlook on the respec; somebody's gotta present the negatives for the sake of balance.
I can appreciate the rationale behind doing this, but I'm still scared.
Anyone out there have similar concerns?
