I strongly suggest that you stop typing, breathe deeply, and think before you write something that ridiculous again. Now don't get me wrong, this statement made me laugh (think of an "at you, not with you" sort of thing), but like you pointed out in a very oxymoronic way, this doesn't reflect well on the community. :)

Oh come on, he shows so much maturity...

The exodus after Patch 1, EP2 and other events shows what high expectations may bring. I would rather keep expectations low and hope to see SoR be a game closer to the game envisioned by DCC some years ago.

I don't say "great job" after every patch, nor make much noise about what was left out. I expect little, that makes me bad for new players ?

Geez some people are ungrateful!

They save your game and you give them grief 5 minutes after they're through the door?

Get real, get some perspective and get some gratitude!!

I agree...on a side note, I'm sorry to everyone, Soulsnatcher, and rest of community, all but doubletap..i'll never be sorry for anything i say to you I still think you are an........., for my now deleted post.
This thread sux and I just hate to see a negative post about the game itself. sure it hase a few shortcommings and things we al want to see happen, but we are still all here, playing, and subscribing because deep down we all know that no other game even comes close.
I've searched high and low for a "replacement" for my world of Atys and all i can find is disappointments because in the end, Atys is the by far the most alive world in this virtual universe full of games and friends.

So please people, don't knock the game we all love here, stop saying to keep expectations low so as not be disappointed . some new money is here and will no doubt look to make necessary improvements that will turn a profit on their investment. If game was so bad, then there would be a whopping 2 people playing, but everyone who has been here for any significant time can't help but to either stay or look on with curiosity because of this beautiful world we all love to make our second homes

A pessimist is always pleasantly surprised, an optimist often let down. ;)

Personally I stay somewhere in the middle but would hope the original post was a bit of a joke. Of course DD might seriously be depressed that he didn't get a decent Christmas event :P

Oh and btw @ Souls, a "Edited by Soulsnatcher" in the post itself like you used to do with the big bold italics would stop me thinking Owagwyn was sounding just like a 7000 year old unded SGM :p

Hahaha, so speaks a true pessimist
In fact ( ;) ) a pessimist is usually disappointed, while an optimist's hope just won't die, but lives on, sustained by any tiny victory, sure that one of these days it will be realized. :D
