Just a question:

Why do we need Christmas gifts? As far as I know, Jesus Christ was supposedly born on Earth, not Atys.

I just don't get it.

It happens in every game, even "Norrath". Its just something. If you want this argument again, please, just view the halloween event thread. *sigh* No need to get into it again.

Sorry, but I must say that just because other games do it is not sufficient reason. If you applied that logic to many other things...

There is a winter festival in lore, though I forget the name of it. Mostly a Tryker thing IIRC.

Just because there's a winter festival doesn't mean it is necessarily 'Christmas'.

One possible reason you didnt see any presents is there was at least one person I saw bombnuking spawns of presents then running off, not even bothering to loot.

Which isnt Gameforge, Nevrax OR the CSRs fault. (In fact the CSRs put a prompt stop to it as soon as it was brought to their attention).

Hello Phelan, please don't pay too much attention to these recent forum posts here. While some are worthwhile meaningful posts about game, a lot are argumentative, bickering posts.

many around, including me, are guilty of bickering and fighting here. Its not a good gauge though as to how we all are really. Its just that so many are frustrated at the game being pretty stagnant for so long and are starting to take it out on eachother.

So.....congratulations Gameforge on acquiring Ryzom and heres to a fun and happy newyear and hopes for the things we players have been longing for

I saw Christmas trees in "Ranger Camp" on the newbie island, and also saw a few players with Candy Cane weapons pound lumps with them onto Ryzom creatures.

I thought Gameforge did a good job with Christmas in Ryzom.

I am 1/8th Jewish. Maybe Gameforge can add some Hannukah content next year as well - explosive driedels maybe!

Well.. that post wasn't that serious.. I took it the right way, I guess..

Anyways.. we are reading the board and are paying attention to it. The board is one valuable source of information what the players want. I am not promissing that all problems of ryzom will vanish now within weeks.. but we will try our best.
