Re: Ryzon buyout news
OK so the situation has been resolved now and things are falling in to place to move forward. Some may decide that as this is not the solution they wanted that they no longer want to play the game. That's unfortunate as the plans for the future haven't been laid out for everyone yet, but was bound to happen with the levels of passion for the various outcomes that were being displayed around here. Knee jerk reactions to something that is just a few minutes old areprobably not the best way forward, let's get the info, get it to you and then see what will happen. A lot of people feel this is the best way forward, let's see what the plan is before condemning it.

Re: Ryzon buyout news
(i saw this before edit)... it's just a game... true, there is no other game like Ryzom (almost everything is linear quest based)...acridiel wrote:*takes a deep breath*
Sorry....
... but still, new company with lot of energy and wish to prove itself, so i look forward to the changes (i just hope they dont add jumping).
true, we cant get to see the code or improve it, but i'm still ok with the outcome.
Re: Ryzon buyout news
I agree Souls.
Leaving now out of spite because it didn´t "break free" is silly.
I was never a supporter of this idea.
But Gameforges History of Browsergames well.. shoked me a bit.
As I see it, after thinking a bit, Gameforge being a semi-big Company, with funds and the promise to keep the Staff, they seem to be planning to take the step up from Browserbased MMOs to REAL MMOG now.
I realy, realy hope so, for it would be fairly logical for them.
I mean, why buy a working machine and than disassamble it and reassamble it into something smaller. that does not make sense at all.
*holds the banner of hope high*
And sorry, for my "kneejerk" reaction.

I'm glad to just know who is taking over for sure. Now it's just the wait to hear what they have planed instead of who will be doing the planing
