Upgrading my trial account

Post by grahambr »

I'm very impressed by this game and the community who are playing it. However I get a message that the upgrade service has been disabled when I try to upgrade from my account.

Anyone know why this is? Is it only temporary?

Many thanks guys. The most impressive part of my first impressions of Ryzom has been the friendliness of its player community. The game looks great and very new in it's play style and environment.

I will hang in there and hope we will finally meet on the mainland. I'm sure I'll have plently to do providing they don't take too long. Lets hope the new owners are not SoE or Blizzard.

I'm so disappointed I can't upgrade my account. There is a post on the front page of SOR - Warcry at http://sor.warcry.com/ that looks interesting but I'm not sure what they have in mind.

Hmm... that's kind of odd. I'm not certain what they have in mind.

Accounts have been frozen because accourding to French law, Neverax can not handle any incoming money while they're in recievership. That's why even 'paying' customers haven't paid since then either.

It is very interesting for a newb like me waiting to try the mainland but am not interested if it is going to be an exploit.

However the post is from the site manager so I would think he would not want to tarnish his or the site reputation. Or am i being naive? :-)

Think I'll take a look tomorrow at what they propose.

This site would not promote something that hasn't been passed through the folks @ Jolt typically. Wait til Monday to judge, Warcry has been good to SoR since the beginning and should be given the benefit of the doubt.

The folks running the site have a vested interest in the success of SoR and are typically volunteers/players. This is not a site pretending to have SoR's interests at heart.
