Note that my argument was not that the game would fail due to lack of dancing, but that it could fail because of a lack of depth - such as no dancing, music etc.
I hate to say I told you so, but on a certain level it feels so good. I tried to persuade people that change was necessary, but many folks here were determined to keep things mediocre. On another level it's a crying shame because this game had so much going for it - good mechanics, an interesting back story. It just didn't have any of those extra things that make people want to stick around - like dancing, playing music, etc.
I'm just glad that my experiences here persuaded me not to get too involved in the game. I have my opponents in this thread to thank for persuading me to leave. The whole playerbase has their attitude to thank for the game not succeeding. Another game killed by lack of vision. Bravo!
