I'm playing a Zoraï fighter, but I wanted to do other missions as well. When I started doing the second crafter mission, my mission giver wouldn't take my boots. I ignored the mission and played on but now I've started to do the "main missions" and was supposed to give the device to the crafter, that little npc wouldn't take it either. Is it any way this can be fixed, or do I have to re-do the missions, if so, how do I do that?
If anyone can help I would be glad to read it.
My mission givers won't agree with the mission they gave me?!
Re: My mission givers won't agree with the mission they gave me?!
some things to double check:
* are all the boots you crafted of the required or higher q level?
* were you asked to add a hp boost to the craft? (need to edit your action to do this)
* have you crafted enough?
* did you craft all the boots in your inventory after you took the mission? this one is important as ones already in bag wont count.
* have you relogged?
* do you have any other missions active? if you do try and clear them and come back to this one
if the answer is yes to all the above then your best option is to sell all the boots you currently have and start again.
good luck

Re: My mission givers won't agree with the mission they gave me?!
Thx for the tips but the boots arn't the general problem. I wanted to give the mission giver another thing (the device from the advanced bandit) so how can I prevent the "missionist" from craving the boots and instead want my device?

Bring up your journal ( J ) and end the mission where the NPC wants your boots. that should do the trick.maturkus wrote:Thx for the tips but the boots arn't the general problem. You cannot have any open missions.maturkus wrote:Thx for the tips but the boots arn't the general problem. I wanted to give the mission giver another thing (the device from the advanced bandit) so how can I prevent the "missionist" from craving the boots and instead want my device?
You will have to finish off the open crafter mission before you can continue the more advanced one.
Sorry but that is just how things are coded.

Can't abandon any missions on Silan. The boots will have to be completed.ffxjosh wrote:Bring up your journal ( J ) and end the mission where the NPC wants your boots. that should do the trick.

Re: My mission givers won't agree with the mission they gave me?!
I really think we should have an option to abandon unfinished missions.
Had a couple of times problems finishing with crafting missions. I'm suggesting to craft more boots of the required quality, until the crafting trainer accepts them and your mission updates.

Ty guys, I'm going to try your suggestions and hopefully I'll get on with my missions and online life.
