No even a month old and already free keys?

Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

Please the population is lacking so they are trying to bring people in, dont take much credit for it.

Uh, what? Where have you been? They've moved the NA server to New York and have patched in a few fixes that dealt directly with the lag. I haven't had any since then.

Content is obviously coming in patch 1. It's already on the ATS. Have you been living in a hole the past week :D

He doesn't actually play the game. He just hangs out here to whine about it. Pretty pathetic actually.

EDIT: He also throws around the word fanboi alot...which is ultra pathetic.

robin wrote:Sorry, but I think this is laughable. The game is no where near "bring a friend in" ready. This is a way to make it easy for folks to spend $40+ on Ryzom without even having to go to the store and buy it. Then, after you have purchased the game by default (not cancelling before 14 days is up), then they take away 14 days from your free month??? So then the intial 14 days isn't even really free, is it?
If they decide not to purchase the game then, yes, it is free. Would you rather Nevrax give them a free 14 days, then another free month on top of that? Kind of unfair for us other people who didn't get a trial offer, don't you think?

Big whoop. We got a free week already. If you're that broken up about having to pay for an extra week, I pray for your sanity.

My dad taught me a very, very, very important lesson when I was a kid: "Life ain't fair. Get over it."

Good God...

Can Nevrax ever do anything that won't be deemed "suspect" by somebody?

They're offering a free 14 day trial to friends of current subscribers. This way, more people can get to check out the game without having to put down any money up front to do so. If they like the game, they pay for it. If they don't, they don't pay a penny.

What is so complicated or questionable about that?

Why Cerest hasn't locked this topic yet is beyond me.
