Range weapon quality?

Why someone would raise range weapon crafting if the q10 gun is as good that q250 gun?

You can use any gun under You skills.
You can use any quality ammos in gun.

Any homin with 250 range weapon skill with q250 ammos can use q10 range weapon as good as q250 range weapon. You get same damage to enemies with any quality gun, as only speed and range is defined by gun it self. All the damage is comming from You skill and ammos?

Or can someone say that it isn't so?

What's the point of learning to craft better quality range weapons?

Or is there bug that somehow allows You to put higher quality ammos in lower quality range weapons?

The ql of the gun caps the damage outlet from ammunition. Using a ql 10 gun and ql 250 ammo means you'll only do the damage of ql 10 ammunition. That and the fact your chances to hit are dependant on the ql of the gun compared to the Accurate attack stanza.

Correct, the problem is the gun will cap your damage.

However I'm not sure what you mean about Accurate Attack - a lvl 250 fighter could use a Q10 weapon and Accurate Attack 1 and attack with maximum accuracy- just no damage.

I could be mistaken, but I always thought that using an Accurate attack stanza close to the ql level of your weapon proves to be most efficient. To far below or to far above the designated ql level set by the stanza, efficiency would drop.

For maximum efficiency, the stanza should be matched to your lvl OR the Q of the weapon, whichever is LOWER.

Sometimes damage isn't too important and using a low Q weapon and cheap stanzas is very helpful.
