hmm, Be sure for starters you let it restart itself.. e.g. Don't click the icon... I made that mistake a few times because it was restarting slow so I thought it wasn't at all... If its not that then, someone else will have to help ya, lol... To tired to think...

Well, Sorry, Can't help anymore then, Its almost 3 in the morning, And I don't even know what I am doing... I am also very hungry... I think I will at something then got bed lol! ...

Oh umm , Maybe try restarting your comp once and then try, And make sure you let it restart itself, Unless its crashing out... Don't try to rush it either... Sometimes my programes on my Windows XP Comp say "Not responding" And will let me do "End now" But If I leav them alone long enough they work right, lol...

Foodluck! Off to find some food now...

[edit] LOL foodluck... I meant good luck :D

I hope you still have the installer that you downloaded? I'd try deleting your Ryzom folder and running the installer again. Let it patch again and restart by itself. Before running the installer be sure your system is free of viruses and malware, and close any other programs you have running. Give it the best chance you can to install cleanly.

If it still doesn't restart itself after patching, or something else is wrong, use the live chat support tool, Klients, as well as posting here.

Edit: Also look at this recent thread, and take Zerlin's advice.

This error is usually due to damaged/infected IE install.
Ryzom tries to hook up to various web sites when i first launches and if something like a non-standard IE toolbar or the like tries to interfere then you get this C++ error.

You may want to try repairing your IE install as per the Launcher error codes FAQ. Or just try removing any toolbars from your IE.

I have done many searches on the web and this or a WinXP reinstall is about the only way that I have seen for fixing this error. But you could try reinstalling your video drivers cleanly or downloading and running the IE7 installer.
