I thought the majority of the thread informative and relevant to the game therefore I see not much reason to close this worthwhile discussion

You are of course forgetting the fact that the Ring took up capital in the form of new hardware, drove them to redesign the entire server architecture, took up loads of dev time because lots of things had to be done from scratch, etc etc to try and cater to a minority of players. Whereas the "PvP content" took up no new hardware, worked on the original arcitecture, only had to have itself coded instead of all the extra stuff required to make it work and can be (and is) used by almost everyone (unfortunately in some cases)

All of which is why PvP is a cheap (and nasty) substitute for actual, decent 'content'.

That is your most illogical statement yet.

Firstly, I thought you hated the C word (CONTENT). And secondly, I'd much rather they spent their time on something that takes less time and effort and appeals to more of the playerbase. Maybe thats just me and everyone else with a brain who cares that they have to pay for their account though.

And as for this thread stopping, only Souls or you gagging your guild will do that Kost
