Also, it takes slightly longer than 10 seconds to move a website.

oh im sorry, my mistake, 2 seconds to upload a html file named index.html with an instant redirect to a server that is presetup that can handle the bandwidth of a few thousand casual browsers. temporary solution to and imediate problem. but a solution none the less. no need to wait for domain transfer etc.

The idea of opening Ryzom had been planned for months, being the "desmise of Ryzom" for granted, just a matter of time (this assertion, coming from someone who states that he has a NDA that prevents him from commenting on his laid-off, is a bit tight, imho, but just a minor thing)

Ok thanks. An idea you bear in mind isn't exactly what i called a plan , for the rest, the idea being at the root of ryzom we agree. Sure it would have been nicer to launch the site sooner too.
