Finaly some people had say much false things about this project and some of the community of ryzom.org, for exemple one said that Xavier took the role of DCC before he was fired. I can find lots of others affirmations that are false. Just because they don't go to the information.

I said he took over the role of public anouncements/interviews and administration, which he did, never said that Xavier took Davids title at nevrax. DCC was never fired, he left his position voluntarily in one of the early reorganisations

yep... as I said to Praha, the only organization they have is in their URL...

Yes I just wish that people would stop trying to promote this the management so far from what I have seen have been shady and poorly thought out at best. Also having been in two sinking ships on the internet already as far as rip offs go this one has all the classic signs.

1) very little information
2) a bunch of supporters who defend the thing but really have seen nothing more then anyone else and are running on blind faith
3) an opportunist taking advantage of a situation


Anyone who even considers forwarding a single cent to this guy for the purchase of this software is liable to find themselvs out of several bucks and with something that never actualy comes to fruition

you're making an assumption here that they would be willing to part with Jolt and simply go work for this new company that is essentially 'stealing them away'....

As far as I know no one of the csr work for jolt. they are just volunteers...

lets see... one of the heads was fired from Ryzoms staff, stole emails, lacks organization in his business plan, etc... Thats not much of a showing to appeal to people to go work for them...

First we do not know why he has been fired. Yes he took some of the email adresses, it was wrong, he recognise his errors. And I ask you if you can make the organisation you ask from him in less thant 2 weeks...

if their organization is anything as stellar as the stuff I've seen on the .org project so far, the CSR will be worse than most games.

For me organisating a plan to submit to the judge, in less than 2 weeks it's a good ting. Think of what they can do with a month?

dunno about belgium, but in my country and the US sending spam is a finable offense, and some have been sent to jail (spam being unapproved email).

they need to put it in "printed" form I dont consider a chat room to be a very shall we say business like way of disseminating information to the masses. Again its small time thrown together stuff shows lack of thought, effort and organization really nothing more.

Stricly speaking, and unless I am mistaken (for which then I apologyze in advance) if the project succeeds, and the newly created company with Players money buys the assets, they are not even legally bound to release it as GPL once acquired, for investors represent 2/3rds of the capital and can decide otherwise. It would be unpopular, suicidal, and I admit it, highly not probable yes...but what would happen? you donated money for a non profit organization that in its social contract states a few things yet this organization represents a third of the votes.... please correct me if I am wrong.

I do it shows how their moral compass works and I can say its not working very well. It was a bonehead move and that was only the beginning of the project if a guy is so brainless as to do something that is considered a crime in many countries now then how on earth is he gonna manage to deal with ryzom ....
