No offence to you LT, but on the forums, I think the one homin that did the most 'trash' talking, or let us call it, "the not so clever use of words", is you. And again, no offence, but you gotta understand that this community doesn't like that talk here, at least we can't stand it without a decent rp background.
I think most of us can understand Raynes point of view, it's basicly the same of yours I think (might be wrong), but Raynes says it waaaay better then you do. So try to fit your ideas in a way "we" (I mean the majority of the Ryzom community) can live with. Don't call us carebears, we all know what you mean with that. Just try to only adress your posts to the ones that like the pvp.
I for one like pvp, but just cause of your attitude, would'nt like to be on your side. Can be me, but srr, I don't want to be on the side with the "trash talking" (you have been worse then any kara imho lately).
I know a lot of homins who haven't been competing in pvp 'cause you were there, and honestly I can understand them. So try to be more moderate, try not to offend, and you'll get lots of support, but this way, you wont get any except some pvp fanatics (I respect them for it though, play Ryzom the way you like....)

Never thought i would get such a long post with my drunk mind, anyway, this are my honest feelings, blame me for it, dont blame my friends or guild for it.

*Reads "To All PvPers"* - Could this be an event?! Maybe something big happened? Or wanting to get together to have more fun.

*Opens thread* (page one of 7) Reads First post, smiles that people are enjoying PvP. grins that they are going to do it again in dyron. Laughs at the carebear comment* - I laughed for 2 reasons. One because (IMO) having "PvP junkies" help make Ryzom more rounded. Two because, As much as the extremist minority do want a "discontent free zone" (and, with many extremists, they are some of the loudest) they wont get it and I knew with 7 more pages to go what this thread would be about

*Reads down to Jy's post, re-reads then re-reads again. Laughs* - Its 9.30 in the morning

*Gets to the "I'm not name calling" part* - saying "to all carebears" might (IMO) be saying to any1 who calls himself a 'carebear' "up yours" (or whatever ) Then I thought, "Why would any1 want to call himself a carebear??"

*Reads Praha's posts* - Yup at first I thought that rezzing KoO was a bit silly, but they are making a very good go of it this time. Shame they couldn’t do it under a new banner but this Version of KoO (so far at least) appears to be different to the other previous versions ( more structured and them accepting "newbie’s" into their ranks, being an example of this) and has more hope of staying longer than any of the other version before them.

*Realises he's on the last page, reads ruhen's post* - Sure its nicer when people have a RP reason to state how/why they feel. Having said that, surely I’m not the only one who gets sick and tired of people hiding behind an RP reason to just "trash-talk" someone in a slightly more polite way. This isn’t an RP section, so why RP. If this thread was in the RP section then I would have an issue with it.

As long as LT wasn’t calling all the "non-PvPers" Carebears then I don’t see how this got escalated. When will people learn that Ryzom has the potential to be completely open PvP?! (If everyone tagged up) Pretty please will people stop living in "beta" or the time just after release? If you want a game where there’s no PvP I would recommend Seed (oh dear, wait. What happened to that game!!!).
