Pop up window "Please wait..."

every ten minutes or so I get this window in game and I know people are saying wait it goes away but after two trys waiting for about ten minutes it doesn't go away. This happens every time I log in. I've tried disabling my firewall, virus scan, port fowarding on my router and changing to direct 3d. Are there any known fixes to this?

Possible as well: you might be using Wireless LAN.
Some WLAN routers have enhanced difficulties with UDP traffic. If you're on a WLAN environment, don't use DHCP and assign a static IP for your machine (and adjust the forwarding settings etc. accordingly).

yes I saw that, I did as instructed, open up port fowarding for those numbers, still getting the Please wait...

Yeah, I've been getting this too. As for the DHCP bit, could you link me to a guide on how to configure my router after disabling DHCP and changing my connection to a static IP? When I do so at the moment, my internet quits working.

Please see the website for the manufacturer of your router. Every brand has a different manner of accomplishing this. In fact, some models will be different even from the same manuafacturer.

i am gettin the same problem i live in a house with a mate and he plays to and are computers are connected via hub and he is gettin the same problem even when only one of us i have tried spybot scans virus scans but i can see mto fix it so could i plz get some help stated on friday the 24
