It looks like Nevrax is gone as a company. My guess is that they have a lot of debt, and the plan to have new players coming on fast enough to pay the debt off did not work. I am not sure about French law, but normally the Court appoints a Master who tries to figure out what to do:

1) sell the company assets, and pay off creditors

2) make a plan that satisfies the creditors (this is what probably just didn't work)

3) find a buyer that can plunk money down, and use that money to pay off the creditors. The new buyer does not have the debt load anymore.

I think #2 above was what they tried a few months ago, and it didn't work. So either #1 or #3 are left. Let us hope that #3 comes true, and the buyers don't want to change the game into another WoW.

this kinda sucks for me and my friends who just joined.... while i have my subscription and can go everywhere... they where planning to buy it this week.... but they wont be able to do it? so, they wont be able to join us in main land <.< can u please come with an solution to this, cuz u guys missed out on a vital code in this game.... new players and the friends with whom they play.

There is potential here, just needs money, more money than nevrax has, only reservation is any new changes of direction for the game and new owners being as receptive to players.

How about we start thinking up questions for the poor sods to answer when they've sorted everything out and give them a big Ryzom Welcome.

Why do you want Ryzom?
Have you noticed the community here is different to most other MMOs are so will treat us well?
Are there any major changes you'd like to introduce?

Are you sticking with Jolt? (Hosting/CSR)
Are you adding to, taking away from or dropping the whole current Dev team?
Do you have money to burn?

Well ofcourse, they prolly don't even know the answer to half of our questions yet but they're gunna have to think about it at some point and come out with some details. While we're waiting we can think up some questions for them to answer hehe.
