The Trial is limited to the Region called Ruins of Silan. Which is Very small compared to the Mainland.

Once you become a "subscriber" you will have access to the Mainland and the Higher level skills.

The trial is only a way of teaching you, through the use of missions, the basic skills you will need. However, the limit for these skills is set at 21.
To progress further or to venture to the mainland you need to subscribe.
What awaits you on the mainland is a mission free, do what you want to do style of play. The area is huge and is broken up into four sectors by race. However, anyone can go anywhere (with help of course).
