Finding NPCs for deliveries?

Fresh into Zora finally in mainland, now I am on the starter quest for amber cubes and I am to deliver something to Cai-ci Fuo.

I tried the /target command but there is another npc named Cai-ci Da and it picks up him...so do I just wander the whole city trying to find this person? Is there a method to this?

Those missions usually place a flag on your map to find the NPC. If not try : http://ryzom.raum.com

Those NPCs use to be walking by the dunes. Several of them change their location.

Ahh that's the trick, may not be a mission flag because it's in a different area? Database has a Ciai-ci Fuo in someplace called Mektoub Waterhole. Maybe the mission has a typo.

mektoub waterhole is south of zora Zoom in on your map and you will see it

if it helps any none of the wandering npc's in towns have anything to do with missions, there are a select group - corporals, welcomers, messengers, etc that do.

look carefully at the mission description - if your target is in Zora, Hoi Cho, etc then they will be actually in the town, if it says find xxxx in cities of intuition, maiden grove etc it means they are wandering around the region and wont be in a town.

That helps...so is it a correct impression that targets for delivery quests are people with the "Who are you?" option? IE not wandering miscellany, not merchants with just the option "Trade" but only special chatty npcs?
