The trouble with "weekly Invasions" like that would simply be, that they would soon become repetetive. They´d be "the norm".
Nothing special anymore.
I´d rather have infrequent Invasions, wich vary in scale and "invasiveness" ;) then the same Bugs any given Sunday.

That´s what makes them so special.
Apart from War never being "special" in a positive way, it never appears regularily in a certain area of the World. It ma last month or years and it surely never gets boring, but luckiely it´s over someday.
Even the 30years war was over someday.

So while the Homins and Kitin might live in a constant warlike state, both need to replenish their ressources to reach their ultimate goal.
The eradication of the other race.
And hopefully this will take a loooooong time.
Regardless of wich side wins in the end.
If Nevrax would stay ultimately true to their claims of freedom and history building upon our actions, it would be entirely reasonable that the Kitin might win this war someday in the far future.

And then maybe we´ll reach Part 2 of the Saga. *sighs dreamiely* :) ;)

This is my first day looking at this game. I have played EQ 1 & 2, WoW, Final Fantasy Online, and only really liked WoW and EQ2, this game looks very interactive and diverse, unlike the games I have listed, very interested in something out of the box like this game. Downloading it right now. :D
