Crafting and the noob quests...
Crafting and the noob quests...
I have a question about craft mission #2, how on earth do I use the 'crafting option for HP boost 1' ? I open my craft window but see nothing that would give me that 'option'. Could someone explain?
Re: Crafting and the noob quests...
The HP Boost skill gets added to your armor craft stanza. Simply edit the stanza and every piece of armor you make willl have the +5 HP

Open your action book (using 'b'). Click the crafting skill box on the left. You should see your craft armor skill listed to the right. Using the mouse, click that, hold, and drag it to an empty box on your toolbar.
Now using the mouse pointer, right click the icon you just dragged onto your toolbar, and choose 'edit.' From the skill editing window, select 'add option', by clicking. A sub-window should pop up offering the HP boost, allowing you to add +5 hp to your crafting plan. Choose that by clicking on it.
Next, click in the window for the skill name and re-name it something obvious. For example, "Amor Q10 w HP boost", so you know what it is later.
Now at the bottom of the edit window, click "learn" (to learn the skill) and this window will close. Now equip your armor crafting tool, and then click the skill you just edited, and it will let you craft HP boosted boots.

Both of the replies thus far require you have purchased the HP bonus upgrade at the trainers. IIRC it's 20 SP, but admittedly it's been awhile since I had to buy an HP bonus pattern.
You can only use one bonus level (5 bonus) per 10 levels of craft skill. ie. a Q250 weapon/armor (without OP tool bonus) cannot exceed a boost of 125, regardless of how you break it down between HP/Sap/Focus/Stam.
