I completely agree.

I recently tried the free trial and it got me hooked. I have been follosing the games progress for some time and up until now I love everything about this game and I'd hate it if it dissapeared due to finacial problems. I love the community, I love the atmosphere and I adore the lore. I my opinion it is the best mmorpg out there.

I made a rather pretty penny with an EQ2 site I used to run using Google's advertising service, and I filtered out all of the gold/plat farms.

Thanks everyone for your excellent replies, and to Disco123, Tigon and Barny01, welcome to the game as well.

I have started my journey on Cho, and was impressed with the level of activity for new players there. I am encouraged to see that SoR is getting a resurgance of activity, and I'll do my best with all of you to keep it that way.

Now, regarding Acridiel's offer of bearing my children, I am honored, although I am not entirely sure how that would be done in game. Couldn't find the emote for that particular act, and trust me, I looked and looked...

And looked....

Since I hardly know Acridiel or Jamela, who seems to be most opposed to this notion, I suspect I should reserve judgement until Acridiel and I have coffee together, perhaps dinner, then watch 200+ hours of old video footage of my daughter growing up. That and reading our photo albums capturing our family trip to the Adirondacks (actually, never been there, but have always wanted to use it in a sentence). There's this great pic of my wife sneezing milk out of her nose (again, not true, but it is something I would like to see at least once - for the times she's seen me do the same).

In the hope that my digression cooled Acridiel's libido a bit, my thanks to everyone for the nice posts, and special thanks for the video link. I will be spending a lot of time there - the questions I had about creating new actions was answered already by that site. Very good stuff!

As a new member myself, (of about 3 days) I am still trying to decide which character I made is better looking...

What appeals to me is what I have read about the community. How new is the Cho server? I made my char on it because it was the only one up when I found the game. Has it been around long enough to develop the type of community I have been reading about?

I like the idea of class freedom and possibility that the game could have a rich RP community.
