Did you play swg? which server? what toon?????
Pardon the off-topic here, but All your base is from a Engrish phrase found in Zero Wing --> clicky!
Its not directly related to anything in SWG... most MMOs have people running around in them with people yelling it out. I believe we've even had an Infinity member or two yell it out :p

anyway, back to the topic at hand

It only appears that way. People with a dislike for time sinks want to win fast. The same people want to win easy - because little challenge is part of the "winning fast" strategy.

Sorry, I'm very jumpy on this issue because the same "easy, fast and easy" people usually advocate looting top gear - which obviously destroys the player driven economy.

As much as I joke about jet skis in Tryker I love it the way it is. It is the most difficult region to navigate making the risk reward factor great fun.-Kil Yay 100 posts!! Only took over 2 years :)

Your compleatly incorrect.

Intelligent AI = Harder

Quests that take figuring out = Harder

Lack of infromation about your Foe = Harder

Spending 15 hours in a day on a game != Harder.

I would prefer tougher mobs, harder AI's to beat, aquatic predators, and no "top gear" drops at all. However, I still get annoyed at swimming at the way around Fairhaven when I want to dive off the end of the lanes. I don't think that the time wasted swimming on an indirect route serves any useful purpose.

I second that comment about Fairhaven - besides being annoying, it's noticeably unrealistic. Please add ramps so we don't have to keep swimming around the city!

I don't know about the aquatic predators thing, I like the water=safe equation :)

It would be nice to be able to dive and swim underwater - it seems the devs have spent a lot of time making nice scenery there, but we just get glimpses.

if ramps are too hard, how about a itsy bitsy island, with a sandy beach, on the back end of FH :)

Aquatic predators would require the ability to defend yourself in water, which is probably well into the too-hard basket at present.

The ability to teleport with meks would be a huge convenience, right now they arent worth taking out of the stables :p
Maybe have a separate TP ticket for meks - perhaps costing 50 k each use.

It happens sometimes to be partially incorrect... but never completely. And certainly I'm correct when I say that time sinks are needed in a game.
Quests that take figuring out = Harder
This doesn't apply either... Ryzom is a sandbox game and quests are not wanted, players are supposed to create their own content. At least, *I* do not want quests.
Lack of infromation about your Foe = Harder
This is how Ryzom is already - you have to learn the hard way the spells a mob is vulnerable at, whether the mob is aggresive or social.
Spending 15 hours in a day on a game != Harder
Instant gratification = Far too easy
And anyway, no one needs to swim all over Aeden Aqueous forever. You only need to swim once to most places, after that there's a thing named teleport pact.
