I was going to do a post asking how people were finding Cho and whether they were enjoying the 'New start'.
I however notice that in the next patch that, trading restrictions are being slightly lifted.
Upto ql20 items (might be relaxed more as Cho evolve) can be cross shard traded. (If I read it right, correct me if I am wrong, please let me be wrong!!!!)
Whats stopping me harvesting 100's of ql20 mats, transfering them to a Cho player, who immediately sells them. (Dapper by the back door)
At the moment Dapper is a real currency on Cho, we have to choose whether to port or not, OP battles can cost a fortune if you get a wipe, etc, etc.
On a side note, do you think its a good idea to allow trading to RoS, Via the ring?
I personally feel that trading between shards of anything will destroy the independence of the shard.

Re: [Cho] The Latest Patch.
rofl I had to look up the definition he was using... the one I knew didn't quite fit >_>
Def: Twink (MMO)
In an MMORPG, a veteran player who makes a new character and gives a bunch of top-shelf equipment from their older, maxed-out characters to the new character
Edit: but yes, I agree that any trading to Cho is bad until it reaches some "high level of development", at which point they make it the same as the other servers in one change.
Edit2: And trading to RoS is bad mkay?

Re: [Cho] The Latest Patch.
I think its a bad idea regardless of how low the items are and indeed I could probably use it to make some kind of profit, just leave cho alone guys want like it that way,

Re: [Cho] The Latest Patch.
I dont see why if interserver trade MUST be allowed as it seems Nevrax wants, can't these items be made no-trade once they reach the new server.
This allows ring rewards to be given which i assume is the reason for the patch, but has limited effect on the economy of the other server, as the items cant be sold or given to other players once they leave the server thay were crafted/gained on. Not ideal but less exploitable than free trade.

Re: [Cho] The Latest Patch.
I also don't agree with any trading esp to Cho. I like working away semi-independent of what is going on on other servers.
However, I was more concerned about the lvl cap on RoS. I can see thier worry that people will play there and not pay a thing for it but isn't lvl 19 too low - how about lvl 35 or 40. Then you can get a bit of experience and spend a bit of time in the game to find out if you like it. Lvl 19 melee is about 2 hrs work.
The free trial thing brought me into the game and I am sure that is true for others - hope even with the changes it will continue to do so.

Re: [Cho] The Latest Patch.
Agreed. Lvl 30 would have made more sense. They're shooting themselves in the foot. Even some of their missions really need you to be above lvl 20.patha wrote:However, I was more concerned about the lvl cap on RoS. Re: [Cho] The Latest Patch.
I agree Cho should have no trading at this time, lets not mess up the new start for the players that want it.
I also think 30 would have been a better level cap for RoS, this allows you to finish all the missions.
