Post a screenie. I'd love to see what tribe I have to do a mission for to get my Neutral fame to pop up on either the personal, Guild or Tribe fame tables.

If you're striving to keep your fame close to the 0/0 level it could be any of them since you're trying to balance things out.

If you're not its just a choice not to join a cult which restricts your fame.

you're talking about Kami/Kara fame there. I'm intersted in the apparent third faction that should show up there, according to Neniti... this one:

"Allegiance cult: Neutral" is ingame, trust me. fame level -100 to 50.

Assuming that should be on the first page of the fame window, under personal. Oddly enough, I don't see it. Do you judy?

No titles for no work and opting not to do missions. DO nothing, GET nothing. It's amazing how everyone wants something for free. You want to not choose a side, that's your choice not to partake in aspects of the game. /ForceWhine all ya want. You aren't getting any 3rd faction whistles and Nevrax doesn't have any interest in it. Sad thing is I think you know it too.

Maybe once other desperate components of the game are finally fixed, OP's, making dappers useful, Finishing up the Rites I wouldn't mind a work in. Till then it's your choice to life your life as a 2nd class cititzen. Cheers, gotta use a Kami teleport pact. You still use those?

each homin starts with 2 titles. Refugee and Homin. only thing neutrals ask is to add 2 new titles, one for cult and one for civilization alegiance, that you lose when you join a faction/civilization and get back when you turn neutral again.

i hope this makes it more clear.

ah yes, even the neutrals will turn to factional insults. BTW, for the value of your neutral opinion, I direct you to my sig. You're a non-believer (either Kami or Kara... In my eyes, Karas are a step up from Neutrals).
Perhaps you were too thick to read between the lines of what I was saying... There is no listing for neutrals in the factional listing. Why? because you're not a faction. You're the lack thereof. You're not Kami, you're not Kara. You're simply homin. The game was created with the war between Kami and Kara in mind. if you choose to not become involved, its your choice, but why should you then get everything a kamist or kara gets? You shouldn't.
Nevrax made it pretty clear where it stands with neutrals (Ep2 for example). Your role is that of a civilian. You're a homin, nothing more. A neutral person has so many definitions in game that even Kami/Kara followers consider themselves neutral. Would they get your precious title too? Doubt it.

Why do you feel it somehow harms you if we get something that reflects our position? That's what your reactions imply. Does it actually impact upon you if the quality of our game is microscopically improved by the ability to identify ourselves and each other through a title?

Considering what's been taken away a little love for the neutral player wouldn't go amiss would it?

And let's make one thing clear to the absolutists. There is no 'right' way to play an RPG save to fit within the context of the world. The assorted neutral positions are provided for within the lore and within the fame and factional structure. The Rangers are neutral, Tryton is more of a third faction but neither Kami nor Karavan so fits the purpose here. There is(was) a good tradition of neutrality of various stripes and that is present on at least two servers.

It doesn't.

Homin doesn't fit. Its the equivalent of human (which is what I put RL under ethnicity on forms but that's by the by). It doesn't tell you anything about where the character stands politically or religiously.

Hell, I'd be happy with negative names. 'Heretic' for a non-factioned and 'Outcast' for a non-civilisation.

Because we worked for our title and you didn't do squat. You are an older toon who started off with +0 Kami, and +0 Kara Fame. You had to do nothing to achieve a title. Newer Fyros Players had to get +20 Fame for a Kami title., +40 for a Kara title. What did you do? Again, you did nothing that warrants the accolade of a new title.

Sadly Time + Effort do not equal Sacrifice. They are not even close.

If you had taken a different approach on this I'm sure you would have had a lot more supporters. Neutrality is not a faction, nor will it ever be. Titles thus far have been a reward for Leveling (time, effort & sacrifice of other activities) or participating in events. One does nothing to be neutral once at +0/+0 Fame. Does no missions, kills no tribes, nothing.

Let me put it this way. I support you 100% (and I'm sure a majoirty of the shards would too) IF you want to go the Trytonist route. No dice on the Neutral front. Neutrality requires no work/effort and should continue to get 0 rewards.
