this morning I fired up ryzom and when it tried to go full screen my computer restarted.
After a bit of troubleshooting I discovered that, if you have v-sync enabled in the nvidia control panel and in the ryzom options (and you are using nvidia driver 92.91) you will see this kind of behavior. The good news is that if you make sure that v-sync is enabled in only one of these places everything is fine.
For completeness sake, my hardware specs:
asus p5b
core 2 duo 6400
nvidia 7800 gt (driver 92.91)
creative X-fi
winxp pro

92.91 are beta and will usually cause some issue with Ryzom.
Try getting the latest release drivers and install them.
You will also need to force Direct3D mode in the game configuration as we have noticed problems with OpenGL and the 91.xx drivers.
