Production: Fame & Autolauncher Titles

While I hate to break into the (repetitive) discussion of a Neutral's definition something else came to mind...

Once upon a time, titles were permanent. As I understand it, they still are.
This way, we still have ol' Windermeer's refugees replacement title (wayfarer, I like that one...), we still have returning first-timers with the "Elder of Atys" and we do have present day Karavan followers with the title "Kami Champion" obtained from one of the first events held.
If that's still the case, those new titles are a nice addition - and some few will go hunt all of them asap (reducing their value to say the least).

If, however, title management is reworked toward being flexible with this as well we'd have far more options that won't even require too much extra work from this point of announcement. Something like:
Neutral Tryker (Citizen: Tryker, allegiance: neutral), Kami Zoraï (Citizen: Zoraï, allegiance: Kami) or Karavan Neutral (Citizen: neutral, allegiance: Karavan), changing their availability as we change our allegiance.
(And yes, I know those examples are the least creative ones there could be )

being a kami/karavan is more than "just killing a few bandits" its working to improve the standing of your faction as a whole, supporting other players who make that decision, working together with many diverse people to forward a common cause.

Actually I work hard to maintain my neutrality. I hang out with members of all factions (digging in GoC with an all Kara team last night, hunting with some Kami the night before). I do missions for tribes of both factions, so I can keep a working business relation with them. And this is _harder_ because half my missions nerf fame for other tribes, so its a careful juggling act to get them all to a reasonable level.

Neutrality is more than just "purposly exclude myself from this", for me my faction is the ability to work as a hired mercenary for either faction, providing a service and a go between, and to have a social and friendly atmosphere with _both_ sides.

Those that really work to preserve their neutrality should be recognised by more than just a TP nerf and exclusion from PvP content.

why give ony for neutrals ? give for everyone, but temporarly disable it when player belongs to faction/civilization (2 titles then, one for showing kami/karavan status and one for civilization status).

i was bored and so i took some kami missions for 3 days (around 3 fame runs in day). it took me 61 kami fame.
then i took some karavan missions for a week (around 3 fame runs per day again). that took me 61 karavan fame.
result ? i have every single tp in atys and i still consider myself neutral
(if anyone wonders about tribes that got nuked to -50 fame.. they still like me)

my point ? getting faction title only requires to press one single button "Become Aligned".

First let me say: IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME! Such a simple thing to do, yet means so much.

Neutrals will have titles, they are the titles of the race they have citizenship with.

i was bored and so i took some kami missions for 3 days (around 3 fame runs in day). it took me 61 kami fame.

If what your saying is true it is only valid to a point... unless something is wrong you cannot get the Kami ones (250 & PR etc) now. You were able to purchase them before and use them now, but you should be unable to get new ones after you lost the fame. I thought you actually had to align to get them TP's... could be wrong as I always had the fame when it was implemented.

Do you have a pvp tag? your own TPs? Representatives for your faction IG? A neutral mission giver? Neutral fame?

Nope... because you're not officially a faction. Its the SWG fame method. If you're not Kami or kara, then you're a citizen and not involved in the conflict (you're non-combat personel... actually, theres your title if you get one...)

a title is a declaration of your faction, of who you support, we're not all factioned to get tp's, its not about the "we grind for our fame so we deserve a title either". You missed the point entirely didnt you.

If it were up to me, you'd get the title at 100 Kami fame. Try getting that and telling me its easy.

Also, what route are you taking that 'forces' you into a pvp zone? There are ways of getting into all of the non-pvp PR zones without having to go anywhere near a pvp zone...

Not everyone takes citizenship either.
