I seem to remember Horizons had an excellent LFG facility where you could search for players by lvl and class aswell not just LFG.

Must add that the HZ channel system was pretty good with the ability to create your own channels, but that being said, ones like the Bazaar channel did get pretty spammy.

Ah, yes! Horizons had an exellent LFG option! you could see the craft levels as well, if i'm not mistaken, race, guild,titles, which zone they were in and what they are looking for.
CoH/CoV have a nice basic LFG window as well, level, description of what they want to do, zone and if they have consent to get invited from the lfg window or not..

It would be a nice feature but it would one step closer to dumbing down the world. To find a team to hunt and have fun you need to put in a bit of effort imo, make friends, run around a bit to find people who might need another etc. Not lazily open window, click tada, team. It's to easy!

I would have to disagree that the LFG window is dumbing the game down. The ML is a huge place and all the tools to get together with other homins is a step in the right direction because it will help newer players find friends faster, which will help bolster the server popultion IMO. Or would you rather have people running around Spamming LFG all the time? SWG is that way and it gets old fast.

The only way I could see that not being confusing any way is if they put a grid system in the game IMO

For newer players it would be a excellent way to find groups and new friends. And if this feature was ingame I would use it.
