What about a regeneration link? I'm sure there's mobs out there that shoot gas clouds...or there better be when I get there! Instead of clicking heal all the time though, a link / AOE link of heals at lower rates would be fantastic.
I know you think this might be dumb, but I really hate how my caster turns to face the person he's healing and I can't see what's going on around the battle. It makes sense though since you are 'focusing' on the character.
But I also like to look around the battle for inc mobs and to see what other people are doing, if someone lost link, or suddenly stopped moving etc. I think this versatility gives me an edge in combat, which is why I prefer to do a blind / stun link when I am in groups. So I propose a heal link that costs the same, but allows you to turn around and move very slowly but heals less hp...like 15-20%

yeah, that's another thought I had that I forgot to mention! (Idea stealer!! ) So the offensive mages have their DoT, but the defensive mages can have their HoT (Heal over Time). Blobolai or something like that, are the non aggro that shoot acid on you and it does area of effect DMG.
